The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, this morning visited the works of expansion and improvement that are being developed at school.
Extending the CEIP Assumption Jordan will be complemented with the launch of a new public kindergarten connected to school.
The expansion will consist of four kindergarten classrooms with integrated toilets, staff room with toilets, hall and warehouse, from 178-337 square meters.
Monday 19 January 2014 are underway works of expansion and reform of Education Child module Assumption of Puerto Lumbreras Jordan Public School.
This morning, the mayor of the town, Maria Angeles Tunisia, visited the new works along with the Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, to monitor the pace of work to be completed before Easter.
In this sense, the mayor explained that it is "integrated action to extend the educational center which had a 2-4 kindergarten classrooms with integrated in all toilets".
Moreover, Tunisia explained that "this extension flag childhood education will be complemented with the launch of a new public kindergarten connected to school Assumption Jordan with which we get all schools in the municipality have to side with a nursery."
Thus, actions have an investment of 162,000 euros funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, and with this expansion goes from 178 square meters to 337 square meters of which comprise the new pavilion childhood education .
To do this, you are building 2 new classrooms, incorporating a total of 4 classrooms second cycle of early childhood education.
Similarly, all classrooms will have integrated toilets, and the new pavilion will incorporate early childhood education staff room with toilets, hall and warehouse.
In conclusion, the mayor explained that "works well as expanding the pavilion include reforming the existing module where the second cycle of infant education shall be made".
He also said that "the actions constitute a commitment by the current government team to address improvements in the CEIP Assumption Jordan that can be developed through collaboration with the regional government through the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities".
