A total of 15 young people have been formed for the title Monitor Leisure and Recreation in the course organized by the Department of Youth council of Puerto Lumbreras.
The City of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Youth and Sports, in collaboration with the intercultural association Gallery has organized a course monitor leisure to facilitate the training and employment of young people in the town.
The course, with more than 150 hours, has consisted of three modules (educational psychology, sociocultural and techniques and resources for the monitor) and addressed various topics such as summer schools, camps, playgrounds, animation, environment and games.
So, fifteen young people have been trained as monitors and have obtained official title that allow them to work as monitors of leisure time.
The mayor of the municipality, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the Councillor for Employment, Salvadora Martínez, attended the closing ceremony and made delivery of diplomas to students who have passed the training successfully.
In this sense, Maria Angeles Tunisia congratulated the youth for the diploma and explained that "job creation is our top priority and from all the departments are coordinating specific plans to promote job creation in all sectors of the local population, and most especially for our youth. "
Moreover, Tunisia added that "For Youth Employment Plan is part of the package of measures for economic revitalization of the town council Designs in collaboration with social partners and business confederations. Thus, our intention is to continue reducing unemployment our town lies 16 points below the national average unemployment. "
Finally, note that the course has been taught by the School of Leisure and Recreation and the Institute for the Study of Entertainment and Leisure.
