IU-Greens in Puerto Lumbreras has proposed that from the council is conducting the decentralization of service for collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal of municipal solid waste and street cleaning in Puerto Lumbreras management, using the formula of direct management or by the municipal company Urbanizadora of Puerto Lumbreras, SL, once it has decided to initiate the procedure for resolution by mutual agreement of the management contract.
Last December a process of mutual agreement with the "Yahtzee Group" for resolving the current management contract for this public service started, because the service that is being given by the private sector is insufficient and has caused problems with the workforce, with widespread reductions day crawling since early 2012, when the service was provided by the company "Cespa, SA".
For IU-Greens taking into account the characteristics of the service, this could be provided directly by municipal, or failing management through a local public entity or public company.
