The works have an investment of 1,767,550.00 euros through the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channel, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
Are underway works of the new lift station to improve infrastructure and water supply in the village of Góñar lumbrerense.
Thus, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and President of the Commonwealth of Taibilla Channel, Adolfo Garcia de Marco, this morning visited the works to oversee the state that is implementing the project .
In this sense, we are building a pumping station and drive in reinforced concrete with two different spaces at different levels.
On one hand, a pit pumping equipment accommodated inside dimensions 8,0x6 meters and 1.5 meters deep;
and secondly, a room for electrical boxes inside dimensions 2,80x6 meters.
Also, be installed 16,315 linear feet of pipe diameter DN 200 and DN 150.
Also, the lift station will have a new reservoir of 1,000 m3 in two equal chambers inside dimensions of 10x13m2 and a height of water surface in service maximum 4 meters.
Also, there is construction of adequacy in reservoir Góñar to improve their status by replacing the current cover.
Regarding the installation of the lift station, note that its design reflects the need to raise water to the new tank 1,000m3 from the pit aspiration.
Aspiration has higher capacity pumps and is regulated by a direct acting valve always keeps you full, so you always have enough flow, the operator in charge of controlling the discharge tank.
Thus, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, explained that "these works contribute to improving the infrastructure and water supply Góñar neighbors. Through the new lift station got take the water flow necessary to the reserve tank located above the main channel that would provide it dimension. Thus, capturing the flow in the branch of Eagles-Puerto Lumbreras, rising to 200 meters to the reservoir of lumbrerense hamlet of Góñar " .
