The City of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Agriculture, Water and districts, has designed a program of activities to mark World Water Day which includes numerous initiatives and activities that promote social awareness and good habits water use.
Thus, more than fifty high school students attended a briefing on the responsible use of water given by technicians of Public Water.
During the presentation, various issues related to WWD, the human right to water and sanitation, exemplary action on water use, or the various campaigns to raise awareness about the proper use of water in different areas were addressed.
It should be noted that the City has launched this program of activities to promote social awareness of the youngest through lectures, workshops, tours and exhibitions.
