Professors, teachers, technicians childhood education and people related to the field of education participated in an Open Classroom to discuss and analyze educational measures in the municipality.
Puerto Lumbreras has improved all its schools, it is the first municipality in the region that offers a public nursery next to each of the 4 schools, and enhances learning English from 0 years through special programs.
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras and the Popular Party candidate, Maria Angeles Tunisia, with General Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Manuel Marcos Sánchez, participated yesterday in the "Open Classroom" in which more than 50 people joined the municipality related with educational field to discuss and analyze measures and proposals to further improve the quality of education in the town.
Thus, Puerto Lumbreras still working on improving and expanding the network of public schools in the municipality, where all facilities are already connected to a public kindergarten, among other advances, and offering free school meals to students.
Furthermore, since this course 2014-2015, the town of Puerto Lumbreras joined the network of bilingual schools of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities with the addition of the college of Education and PrimariaLa Immaculate Conception, located in the hamlet of The Esparragal-La Resort.
Thus, during the workday, Maria Angeles Tunisia, made a "positive" report on the action that took place in all schools as well as new infrastructure and services have been launched in the city in education where this course has increased its student population 1.87% over last year.
Besides the improvement and expansion of the four schools, services were expanded in education as expanding the supply of FP, extending the length of the Official School of Languages, as well as offering adult education.
