The City of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Association for the Integral Development Campodos, promote actions for landscape improvement Nogalte Castle and the creation of viewpoints that enhance vision and historic town.
Thus, firstly, we will act on the northern slope of Castle Nogalte, where an outdoor space visually potential lies for being in a strategic point within a historic site.
From this point we call "Mirador de la Rambla de Nogalte" can have views of the Rambla own Nogalte passing through the town;

What is proposed in this action is the creation of an area of ​​viewpoint that is adapted to field the same and adopt its vegetation and attractive street furniture that makes the stay and rest at this point.
Secondly, acting on the hillside setting in its meeting point with the main entrance to the grounds of Castle is proposed.
This area will be remodeled, acting on its slopes and repopulated with native species of the area as Esparto, Albardín or Labiatae, as well as vegetation type Pines and Jacarandas, which provide shade and leisure visitors height.
In this latter action, the "Mirador del Cabezo de la Jara", from which, as its name suggests, you can observe the natural setting Cabeza de la Jara, highest point in the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras is created with a height of 1247 meters, at this point match the municipalities of Puerto Lumbreras, Velez Rubio and Huercal-Overa and are referred to as Site of Community Importance (L.IC.)
