VILLAGE Association has organized a year the traditional charity luncheon, at which funds are raised to improve the service provided to Alzheimer's in the town.
The Gala has had a fashion show and various musical performances.
The Association of Alzheimer Puerto Lumbreras (VILLAGE) in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, has organized a year its traditional food charity gala to raise funds that will go towards improving services provided by the Association lumbrerense the Alzheimer's in the town.
About 200 people have attended this event which is enshrined year after year as one of the busiest charitable events in Puerto Lumbreras.
In addition, the event was attended by various live performances, as well as a great fashion show.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, said that "the City will continue to work with VILLAGE Association for services will increase to all Alzheimer's patients."
For his part, the President of the Association, Modestina Diaz, thanked all attendees for their collaboration and donations "that will serve to further improve the quality of life of patients with Alzheimer's in the town of Puerto Lumbreras".
New agreement for the care of Alzheimer's patients
The City Council recently awarded a grant of 10,200 euros to the Association of Alzheimer VILLAGE, through an agreement signed between the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the president of the lumbrerense Association of Alzheimer (VILLAGE) , Modestina Diaz.
In this sense, the Mayor of the town has explained that "through collaboration with VILLAGE, we want to promote measures to improve the quality of life for Alzheimer's patients in our town."
