The project includes 6 new primary school classrooms, staff room, office and toilets tutoring.
The Autonomous Community, through the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras develop a new extension in the public school Juan Antonio Lopez Alcaraz with which the educational center of a new line will be provided primary education.
So with this new extension with which "they will be expanded and improved the 4 schools in the town that are already well connected to a public kindergarten."
In this sense, the Mayor of the town, Maria Angeles Tunisia, explained that "in recent years we have developed works of improvement and expansion in the 4 schools in Puerto Lumbreras, significantly improving the facilities and achieving one of the best networks public schools in the region. "
So, Maria Angeles Tunisia thanked the regional government, specifically the Ministry of Education, this new comprehensive action "to be held in the CEIP Juan Antonio Lopez Alcaraz, which aims to create a new line of primary education ".
To do this, a new plant will be built with the integrated kindergarten built in 2008 next to the main school building, and a connection between both buildings through a gateway metal structure and glass enclosure will be made.
Thus, most of the surface of the new plant to be built, will be used at 6 new classrooms teaching to be distributed on either side of a central corridor.
Furthermore, a meeting room for teachers, tutoring room, a store, a warehouse, a living facilities and toilets will also be screened.

Maria Angeles Tunisia, explained that "the City Council in collaboration with the Ministry work to provide more and better services to the families of Puerto Lumbreras with new actions and the future enlargement of the CEIP Juan Antonio Lopez Alcaraz."
Moreover, he added that "we have recently acquired new services to the people of Puerto Lumbreras with a new kindergarten and a new pavilion for Children in Asuncion CEIP Jordan to meet the expectations of this city that is constantly growing".
Finally, the expansion project CEIP Juan Antonio Lopez Alcaraz gives priority to energy efficiency, planning new heating plant through a heat pump system and radiators, minimizing energy consumption.
Heat recovery units will also be installed for ventilation, and lighting will be LED type, with automatic regulation according to outdoor lighting conditions.
