Maria Angeles Tunisia faces his term as Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras after being elected with absolute majority, saying "will be four great years for the development of Puerto Lumbreras, with a new stage, a new team and a great project"

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has celebrated the inaugural plenary session of the new Municipal Corporation of Puerto Lumbreras for the 2015-2019 legislature.
The event, which have come close to a thousand lumbrerenses has been developed outside the Cultural Centre of the municipality where the mayor has taken possession, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and Council of the new Municipal Corporation.
In this sense, Maria Angeles Tunisia explained that "with this act of constitution and inauguration of the new Municipal Corporation started 4 years in which work by lumbrerenses and Puerto Lumbreras, making continue to grow as it has for in recent years ".
Thus, the Constitution Act and inauguration of the new Municipal Corporation has begun with the establishment of the old table, formed by the youngest councilman older, Dolores Arenas (PP) and Andrés Domingo Lopez (PP ), and thereafter each of the 17 councilors have given an oath before the Spanish Constitution.
Then, Maria Angeles Tunisia has been elected mayor of Puerto Lumbreras with absolute majority and has taken up his post.
Thus, with the interpretation of the anthem of Puerto Lumbreras by the Municipal Band it has completed the act that starts the new term 2015-2019.
Tunisia thanked "the confidence of lumbrerenses" and explained that "this will be a legislature full of new projects that will contribute to the development of the municipality and well-being of all citizens, a new era of consensus, transparency and citizen participation."
He also explained that believes in "an open and participatory government. The last times do we change the ways of governing, and so we will continue promoting a flexible, efficient and transparent administration."
So, Maria Angeles Tunisia concluded recalling speech: "I am mayor of all, without partisan distinctions, I face with great responsibility this new challenge and am committed to working in an honest, tireless and transparent to defend the interests of each of the 15,000 lumbrerenses , Mayor will be 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, how could it be otherwise. "
The ceremony was attended Pedro Antonio Sanchez, former Mayor and current Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Adela Martinez-Cacho, Minister of Agriculture and Water, as well as councilors and representatives from other municipalities, and representatives of local associations.
