The service is provided from Monday to Sunday from 12.00h to 8:00 p.m. at the municipal swimming pools, and the only requirement to access the lending of books it is to be a member of the Network of Public Libraries in Puerto Lumbreras.
The town of Puerto Lumbreras has launched new service "bibliopiscina" in sports and leisure facilities of the sports center where the summer pools are located.

Thus, the books may be withdrawn by the pool every day from 12.00h to 20.00h and duration of the loan may be to stay for the day by the pool, or, returned within 15 days in the same collection point.
Thus, the only requirement to access this new service is to present the membership card of the Municipal Library.
Finally, the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Maria Victoria Jerez, explained that "the City Council committed to expand and improve services provided to lumbrerenses".
