Maria Angeles Tunisia presented tomorrow in plenary a motion of Mayor Municipal proposing lowering the real estate tax by 25% for the year 2016.
"The good economic management in recent years now allows us to reduce taxes in the municipality, thus fulfilling our commitment to lumbrerenses".
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia morning take a proposal to the Municipal Council Mayor Agreement to reduce by 25% the Property Tax rustic and urban nature in Puerto Lumbreras.
Thus, the drop is scheduled for 2016 and will exercise saving 25% of Property Tax for lumbrerenses pocket.
Maria Angeles Tunisia noted that "good economic management of the city council in recent years now allows us to continue to cut taxes and expand public services in our municipality."
So, Maria Angeles Tunisia explained that "the tax cut has been and is a commitment of the government team for this term, which is why we want to fulfill our commitments from the beginning."
Thus, the Mayor proposes to amend Article 9.3 a) and 9.3 c) Ordinance regulating Property Tax (IBI) with the drafting of the rates applicable to Puerto Lumbreras real estate urban nature of a 0.500% and rustic property of 0.450%.
Thus, the total reduction of IBI in Puerto Lumbreras will be 25% after the reduction of the tax rate and reduced coefficient update goes from 1% to 0.77%.
To conclude, Maria Angeles Tunisia said that "this tax reduction will be felt in the pocket of lumbrerenses with reduction in a quarter of the IBI".
In addition, Maria Angeles Tunisia said that "the government team working on reducing taxes and municipal taxes, after the commitment to lumbrerenses".
