Tomorrow the registration period opens for people interested in signing up to the activities hosted by the Municipal Sports Center from September.
As new classes include aquajogging, AquaGAP and Aquastep as well as the launch of a new paddle tennis court inside the Municipal Sports Centre.
Coinciding with the opening of the Municipal Sports Complex, after the summer months, the Department of Sports has launched a new program of courses that includes numerous activities with new offers, schedules and promotions.
Specifically, among the activities include swimming adult, infant swimming, baby swimming, therapeutic swimming, swimming for pregnant women, aerobics, AquaGAP and aguarunning,
The Councillor for Sports, Juan Francisco Carrillo explained that "the City Council have worked to design a program of activities to meet the needs of all citizens. For this new season 2015/2016 we have prepared various sports and recreational activities that target groups of all ages and different levels of expertise. "
New enhancements include activities AquaGAP and aguarunning aimed at adults with mobility problems, overweight or orthopedic injuries.
These activities muscle toning exercises with the overall physical condition improves performed.
"By doing these types of exercises in the water impact is lower because fewer joints are damaged and get yourself rectify and maintain proper posture," said Councilman area.
On the other hand, swimming lessons for adults with different levels among which is the first level of initiation, intermediate and advanced, according to the needs of each person will also be taught.
Furthermore, younger guests can also play the sport with "baby swimming".
This activity, aimed at children from 6 months to 3 years, is done in the company of parents.
With these exercises the maternal and paternal bond is strengthened, psychomotor development and lung capacity in sessions of 50 minutes power.
Similarly, infant swimming classes for children aged 3-15 years differentiated by age groups will be taught.
So, they will take place children's swimming courses 3-4 years to 5-7 years, from 8 to 11 years and 12-15 years.
Moreover, the Municipal Sports Centre offers the possibility of therapeutic swimming for children and adults.
This type of swimming is directed to treat spine-related, contracture, herniated discs, arthritis and heart disease, among other diseases.
"All these activities provide health benefits such as decreased pain, increased muscle strength and cardiorespiratory endurance and improve circulation and blood flow," says Councillor for Sports, Juan Francisco Carrillo.
Onsite registration period opens tomorrow, September 1, and those interested can register from 1 to 6 September in the municipal swimming pools of summer.

Among the novelties of this year is the expansion of promotions for users.
Thus, pensioners and disabled people will get a 50% discount, while large families may benefit of 25%.
On the other hand, unemployed people, university students and sportspeople will enjoy 10% discount on activities.
The program also includes service gym with weight room in the Municipal Sports Complex, complete with a wide range of sports activities in the pavilion like school basketball school athletics, karate school for children and adults, tennis , paddle tennis and gymnastics, among others.
Finally, the Councillor for Sports, Juan Francisco Carrillo, concluded by explaining that "due to the increase of users, have seen fit to extend the offer and the schedule of activities. In addition, starting this month, citizens will have a new Indoor tennis paddle inside the Municipal Sports Centre ".
