Police have contacted the Center for Wildlife Recovery "The Valley" in order to improve the state of health of the heron and recover as soon as possible.
Agents of the local police of Puerto Lumbreras have rescued this morning a heron after receiving notice of a local resident about a bird that was apparently wounded in one of the central streets of the town.
Local Police agents moved immediately to the place proceeding to rescue it.
Police later contacted the Center for Wildlife Recovery "The Valley" of Alberca (Murcia), through the Emergency Coordination Center 112, in order to improve health status and retrieve Heron with the widest possible to return to the wild soon.
Finally, the purple heron has been collected by an employee of the Center for Wildlife Recovery "The Valley" to be examined in detail.
