Wednesday, September 16, 2015. The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has organized Open Days in Kindergarten "Buenaventura Romera" with which the PequeCultura project culminated with a nursery next to each school.
Thus, children's workshops, storytelling and games for the little ones were organized, while families could meet this nursery facilities which opened last March.
Councillor for Education and Children, Sonia Lopez, attended the open days of the new center with the Puerto Lumbreras extends the offer of nursery network in more than 600 public squares, and also with all schools the municipality will be connected to a nursery school.
Thus the Infant School, funded by the Ministry of Education, is in Herrerrías Street, next to Assumption CEIP Jordan of Puerto Lumbreras.
The center has an area of ​​660 square meters and offers more than 100 public places for children aged 0-3 years.
In addition, the building includes 6 classrooms, 2 multipurpose rooms, staff room and offices for the management and administration as well as dining and kitchen.
Councillor for Education and Children, Sonia Lopez, explained that "with the implementation of this kindergarten continue to improve the network of kindergartens in the municipality, which has greatly increased public places and services."
