Adela Martinez-Cache
Born in Lorca on September 12, 1969, he is married with two children.
He is agronomist by the Superior of Engineers Agricultural and Forestry School of the University of Cordoba and Dr. agronomist engineer by the Polytechnic School of the Miguel Hernández University in Elche.
He began his political activity in the city of Murcia as Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Environment and Urban Quality in the 2007-2011 term.
Councillor for the Environment from 2011 to March 2015, when it passed to assume the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Community.
In June 2015 he also assumed, temporarily, the functions of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Business and Innovation.
Also part since 1998 in the Commissions on Women, Environment and Universities of the Popular Party.
It has been added at the Catholic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM) in the Area of ​​Food Microbiology and Hygiene professor.
In his academic career he also directed the School of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences of the UCAM and was coordinator of the Master Graduate of Nutrition and Food Security in this university.
He has participated in research projects at regional, national and international level in the field of Community Nutrition and Food Technology.
He is the author of 'The impact of drought in the southeast Spanish agriculture' and is co-author of the publication 'Food models, discussed'.
It has also been cooperating in numerous scientific and popular articles and communications in national and international conferences.
His research also includes stays at Penn State University in Pennsylvania, United States, and the Universita degli Studi di Siena, Italy.
