Socialist Youth of Puerto Lumbreras has launched a campaign to collect school supplies for Caritas in the town.
Although the campaign last Friday, the weekly market held in the town have been many neighbors who have been in contact with members of the Socialist Group to deliver their donations.
Both Young Socialists and members of the Local Group have been receiving educational material throughout this past week, a material that has been delivered today to members of Caritas in Puerto Lumbreras.
It is a pride to help those who need it so much, more so when social cuts in recent years away from government minimum required coverage.
We appreciate the solidarity of lumbrerenses, as well, we appreciate the work done by Caritas in Puerto Lumbreras.
It is indispensable to this great work done by volunteers, neighbors covering the extent possible gaps left welfare of the municipality.
At the same time we claim, the Regional Government, the implementation of urgently implementing the program of free textbooks in compulsory education.
PSRM a proposal that was approved in the Regional Assembly of Murcia last week.
The Regional Government has an obligation to implement this program after the mandate of the Regional Assembly, where lies the will of all Murcia.
