Nearly 200 people make up the security forces and emergency integrating Special Emergency Plan for the festivity of Puerto Lumbreras.
The new plan is designed to "favor the development of the festivity, prevent incidents and expedite emergency actions'.
As a new health care service will be enabled during the parade of floats composed of a nurse and a medical technician, who will travel around the parade route on a bicycle equipped with medical supplies.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Public Safety, has designed a new Special Emergency Plan for the festivity that is celebrated from 1 to 7 October in the municipality.
The Councillor for Citizen Security, Dolores Arenas, explained that "we launched a new special emergency plan to promote the development of the festivity, prevent incidents and expedite emergency actions."
Thus, groups that are part of this plan of action, dependent on the Department of Public Safety and in coordination with different government and private companies, will be composed of Local Police, Civil Guard, Civil Protection emergencies-Service, Security private, health and fire services.
In this sense, the Councillor for Public Safety, Dolores Arenas, explained that "the new Emergency Plan poses an immediate response to ensure the adoption of urgent measures and coordination of the media and all the players that make up this plan."
Moreover, Dolores Arenas has said that '' through the plan aim to respond effectively and coordinated those emergencies that may occur during the festivities.
So with this particular device we increased significantly the security of citizens in the municipality and also guarantee an adequate development of all the festivities. "
On the other hand, within the fairgrounds the communication channel with the Local Operational Coordination Center (CECOPAL) both directed by the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, as the Councillor for Citizen Security, Dolores Arenas will be installed.
Both coordinate this plan consists of more than 180 people.
Thus the CECOPAL integrate all communications staff involved in the Emergency Plan, including its position to respond to possible situations contemplated.
