The distinction, awarded by the Tourism Institute of Spain and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, recognizes the work of the lumbrerenses to optimize and improve the quality of services provided in the town enterprises.

Puerto Lumbreras four companies have received this morning the diploma with seal of quality tourism SICTED, awarded by the Tourism Institute of Spain (Turespaña) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), which recognizes the work of companies lumbrerenses optimize and improve the quality of services provided in the city.
Specifically, the presentation of diplomas, which took place at the Palacio de San Esteban, has been made by the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Maria Borrego, President of the Autonomous Community Murcia, Pedro Antonio Sanchez and the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, Juan Hernandez.

In this sense, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, stressed that "with the participation of Puerto Lumbreras at the project SICTED optimize and improve all tourist services provided in our town to increase the satisfaction of tourists visiting the town ".
