The lumbrerense poet Carmen Martinez presented his new book 'Legends of Becquer versed' in the House Elves Cultural Center.
Thus, more than fifty people attended the presentation, which was also attended by the Mayor, Maria Angeles Tunisia and the Councillor for Tourism and Culture, Maria Victoria Jerez.
Note that in the presentation, along with Carmen Martinez, also spoke Marcos Salvador García Marcos Romera and Tunisia, who were accompanied on guitar by Marcos Romera.

Lumbrerense poet and writer, Carmen Martínez Mateos, is defined as "a lover of poetry," and has published a total of 7 books among which 'Tales and Poems for Herman' 'Poems dedicated and ... some more' or 'The colors of my people'.
The Mayor, Maria Angeles Tunisia, thanked the poet his involvement in promoting the culture of the municipality and thanked him for his participation in different cultural events held in Puerto Lumbreras.
Carmen Martinez Mateos
It was a big fan of poetry since childhood and small shared with his father reading the great poets of the Generation of '27 and others.
He wrote his first poem at age 10 and published his first book "Poems and Songs for Paula" in 2003;
in 2005 "Fan Poems" in 2008 "Poems Dedicated ..." in the same year "Stories and Poems for Herman" in 2009 "The Colors of My People" and in 2014 published "Versando Life".
Carmen Martinez has also developed his love for the theater in the 'Backdraft' Association, which she co-founded in the late 90s, through which actively participated in workshops, plays and poetry readings among other artistic activities.
