The Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Murcia, Fecoam, assists in the First Meeting of Rural Youth and Employment, organized by the association and Campodos which also involved the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
The event, which is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, will be held tomorrow, day 17, Rural Multipurpose Hall of the hamlet of La Station-Esparragal, Puerto Lumbreras and it will be inaugurated by the Minister of Water, Agriculture and Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache;

Campodos president, Antonio Jesus Garcia Conesa, and the president of Fecoam, Santiago Martinez Gabaldon, from 11.30.
The head of Murcia, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, and the president of Fecoam will be responsible for the closing at 16.30.
The meeting, a pioneer in the region, will have a display area for companies, a journey that will analyze the current situation and the future of rural areas and a space of 'networking', to facilitate contact, exchange and business opportunities between the attendees.
The aim of the initiative is to promote interaction among rural youth, enterprises and entrepreneurs at the level of employment and training.
It will allow the dissemination and exchange of entrepreneurial experiences to curb the growing depopulation of these territories.
The main innovative aspect of the project focuses on awakening the entrepreneurial spirit that allows to develop activities to promote employment, hiring and training young people in rural areas and encouraging diversification of activities of the productive structure of the territory.
The event will allow the meeting between companies and young entrepreneurs to identify vacancies and applications for employment in rural areas, in addition to identifying their training needs to access the job.
Also, they offer advice on business models and entrepreneurial formulas, for which successful experiences carried out in other areas are displayed, and information about the new grant scheme Aid for Rural Development programming for 2015-2020 the Ministry of Agriculture.
