The president of the Community pointed out that "this event is a great showcase of the opportunities that young people can have in rural areas for employment, training and development with the goal of having one good idea do not miss" .
The event allows the encounter between companies and young entrepreneurs to identify vacancies and applications for employment in rural areas, in addition to identifying their training needs to access jobs.
Puerto Lumbreras has welcomed today the first edition of Rural Youth Meeting and Employment in Rural Hall Multipurpose lumbrerense hamlet of La Station-Esparragal.
Specifically, the meeting, a pioneer in the region, has had a display area for business, training sessions and a space of 'networking', to facilitate contact, exchange and business opportunities among the attendees.
Thus, the president of the autonomous region, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, has been responsible for closing this event which had the participation of over 500 people throughout the day.
In this sense, Pedro Antonio Sanchez explained that "this event is a great showcase of the opportunities that young people can have in rural areas for employment, training and development, in order to not miss a single good idea ".
Thus, the event has allowed the encounter between companies and young entrepreneurs to identify vacancies and applications for employment in rural areas, in addition to identifying their training needs to access the job.
It has also been offered advice on business models and entrepreneurial formulas, for what have proved successful experiences carried out in other areas, and information about the new grant scheme to aid rural development programming 2015-2020 the Ministry of Agriculture.
The business area has had 25 stands, with representatives of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, Ministry of Agriculture, rural associations, service companies and agrotourism, universities, Fecoam and other agricultural organizations, agricultural cooperatives, business organizations, Regional Service Employment and Training (SEF), Institute of Development and financial institutions.
Note that the choice of Puerto Lumbreras host the first edition of the meeting is that it is a municipality with great agroindustrial activity, with opportunities for diversification into other activities of rural development, and there are previous experiences in orientation training and employment for young people.
Also, the event has been organized by the Campodos association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras and the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Murcia (FECOAM).
The conference is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
