The Mayor and the Councillor for New Technologies presented this morning the new web portal that provides information on management of public resources and the activity of the municipal government.
Citizens can find on the website content of interest as remuneration of senior officials, public jobs, statistics, prime contractors, environmental information and the traffic situation.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras make public on its website the videos of town meetings to be held henceforth as a complementary measure of transparency.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, accompanied by the Councillor for New Technologies, Andres Lopez, presented this morning at a press conference a new web portal offering information transparency in a structured and accessible.
Thus, citizens can consult all information related to public resources and managing the activity of the municipal government procurement processes, pending projects, budgets, inventory of goods and vehicles and urban planning.
In addition, lumbrerenses may know the functioning of government bodies.
Thus, citizens can be informed of the agenda of a Municipal Council or of the Boards of Local Government.
In this regard it is noteworthy that the transparency web portal is divided into 8 sections: paragraph institutional, regulatory, economic, grants and subsidies, property, procurement, planning and environment and information and citizen services.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, explained that "we launched this new portal as a transparency measure aimed at bridging the gap between citizens and municipal politics."
From today, citizens can access a portal to transparency entering http://puertolumbreras.sedelectronica.es.
The page has been configured to be "dynamic and intuitive" because in the opinion of the Mayor "Transparency is not just present data, but also present in the most accessible way for ease of reference."
In addition, the portal will find, among other things, the remuneration of senior officials, the curriculum of the municipal corporation, public jobs, institutional agenda, statistics, prime contractors, environmental information and the traffic situation.
The Mayor stressed that "this website is the culmination of the challenge we set ourselves from the government team to modernize and bring the administration closer to the citizen."
Thus, Tunisia recalled that "already took a first step with the introduction of much of this information on the website of the City. However, we considered necessary to create an exclusive portal for transparency, which is collected from detail and ordered all the information about resources and management of local politics ".

Finally, the Mayor has concluded that "we will work to improve the content of this information portal with more economic and financial data, as well as will increase the information on municipal procedures and any matter of concern to our citizens."
