Those interested in donating toys can do so by taking them to the headquarters of the PP in Puerto Lumbreras Monday to Friday from 17.00 to 20.00.
New Generations of the Popular Party of Puerto Lumbreras has launched a campaign to collect toys, to be held in the city from now until Dec. 31.
The organizers explained that "the aim of this initiative is to ensure that children from disadvantaged families and at risk of social exclusion have a toy this Christmas."
Several members of New Generations of the Popular Party of Puerto Lumbreras, accompanied by the Mayor of the municipality of the PP, Maria Angeles Tunisia, presented this afternoon the eighth edition of the toy collection campaign under the slogan 'Give an illusion, donate a toy '.
With this new campaign, "we intend to sensitize local citizens to donate toys that will later be given to the poorest families in the municipality", explained members of New Generations of the municipality.
"Thanks to the collaboration of lumbrerenses this year we celebrate a new edition of the Toy Collection Campaign in which we hope to overcome the success of previous campaigns."
They also highlighted "the social work being done in New Generations Puerto Lumbreras and other municipalities in the region to improve the lives of our neighbors."
Also, they donate toys may be new or used, but must be in good condition for the lumbrerenses children can enjoy them in the best conditions.
The organizers have "requested the cooperation of businesses and individuals in order to be able to collect the maximum number of toys."
