Nogalte Athletics Club, in collaboration with the Department of Sports City of Puerto Lumbreras, organized the VI Rise to the Sima del Cabezo de la Jara, which brought together about 400 athletes from different parts of the Region of Murcia, as well as other regions.
Thus, the sports day, which had its starting point in the Municipal Sports Complex, has been divided into three different modes: rising mountain biking, hiking and running.
Thus, the VI Rise to the Sima del Cabezo de la Jara has had a journey of 13 kilometers by natural beauty and has culminated in the Sima del Cabezo.
Athletes in its route have been enjoying a natural environment Cabezo de la Jara, and the awards ceremony was held at the Youth Hostel with a lunch of coexistence among participants.
In this sense, the winners in the overall standings in the form of MTB were lumbrerenses Jose Manuel Cayuela (men's) and Mari Carmen Villena (female category).
On the other hand, in the form of foot race champions have been, Juan Javier Jimenez (men's) and Lourdes Heredia (female category).
