It is installing a polyethylene pipe 500 mm in diameter with a length of 200 meters which will lead wastewater to the treatment plant in the municipality.
Monday, January 4, 2016. The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Water of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, has launched a series of actions for the renovation of the sewerage network in parts the municipality.
Specifically, this morning the Councillor for Public Works, Eliseo Sanchez, and the Councillor for Public Spaces, Juan Francisco Carrillo, visited the works being carried out at Diario La Verdad driver improvement wastewater.
Thus, the works being made at Diario La Verdad, between the intersection with Severo Ochoa and the intersection with Teresa Navarro Salas, consist in replacing the old sewerage system for a new network that will polyethylene pipe 500 mm in diameter with a length of 200 meters which will lead wastewater to the treatment plant in the municipality.
In this regard, the council Works explained that "the existing sanitation network has been canceled and is placing a new network of PVC pipe, which allows the evacuation of waste water."
Furthermore, she added that "because of the deterioration experienced by the old pipe with the passage of time, we felt it necessary to issue a new order to improve the sewerage system".
