About 600 athletes took part in this sporting event in the categories of juvenile, infant, prebenjamín, baby, cadet, junior, junior, promises, both senior and veteran female and male.
Ivan Hernandez Nogalte Athletics Club of Puerto Lumbreras and Laura Puche Elche Youth Club have won at senior male and female respectively in the Regional Championship short cross.
The lumbrerenses Pedro Miguel Sanchez Vidal was the winner of the League of Individual Cross in cadet category.
Esparragal Sports Association Athletics Club and Nogalte, in collaboration with the Department of Sports City of Puerto Lumbreras and the Athletics Federation of Murcia, organized the XXX Regional League Cross, 10th "Trofeo Ciudad de Puerto ports'.
Tests were played on three tracks, with distances of 800 meters, 1250 meters and 2000 meters, located next to the Municipal Sports Centre.
About 600 athletes from across the region and from other regions have gathered in this sports meeting which also has played the tenth edition of "Trofeo Ciudad de Puerto Lumbreras 2016 '.
Thus, the sports day began at 09:00 am and have been participating categories: juvenile, infant, prebenjamín, baby, cadet, junior, junior, promises, senior and veterans.
They have also participated popular athletes not federated in all categories.
The sporting event has ended with the awards ceremony which was attended by the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunisia, the Director General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, Alonso Gómez and representatives of the Athletics Federation of Murcia .
So, at senior level it has been disputed Regional Championship both individual clubs short cross as being the absolute champions in men's and women Ivan Hernandez Nogalte Athletics Club of Puerto Lumbreras and Laura Puche Youth Club Elche respectively.
The short cross men's champion team was the Group Alcaraz Murcia and in the female category, the Club Athletics Nogalte of Puerto Lumbreras.
On the other hand, the lumbrerenses Pedro Miguel Sanchez was the winner of the League of Individual Cross in cadet category.
Note that the first three male senior teams are entitled to participate in the LI Championship Cross Country Spain by clubs, in the form of short cross to be held in Madrid on 28 February at the Zarzuela Hippodrome.
Also, in the female section, the winning team gets the classification in Regional, according to the rules of participation RFEA for the season 2015/16.
