400 bulbs lamps are renewed by new Metal Halide aiming to improve lighting and reduce energy consumption.
These lighting renovation work was carried out in 400 street lights located in the center of the town and street shopping areas like San Francisco, Vicente Ruiz Llamas street or Calle Doctor Barraquer, among others.
This action is part of the Renovation Plan Public Lighting has launched the City of Puerto Lumbreras to improve energy saving and efficiency.
Puerto Lumbreras City Council will implement actions for replacing sodium vapor bulbs present in some streets of the town, by other more efficient lighting.
Specifically, the lamps will be renovated with new Metal Halide aiming to improve lighting and reduce energy consumption.
In this sense, improving the lighting will foster a white light, replacing the existing yellow so far, higher quality and comfort for the eye humano.Del Likewise, with the installation of new bulbs will reduce the energy consumption and light pollution.
Specifically, these lighting renovation work was carried out in 400 street lights located in the center of the town and street shopping areas like San Francisco, Vicente Ruiz Llamas street or Calle Doctor Barraquer, among others.
In addition, lighting renovation activities will also be carried out in the industrial area of ​​the town, on the road D-16 (between Puerto Lumbreras with the season-El Esparragal), and in the town of Station-El Esparragal.
Note that this action is part of the Renovation Plan for Public Lighting, which has launched the City of Puerto Lumbreras to improve energy efficiency and savings, following the signing of a collaboration agreement with the company Elecnor.
The collaboration agreement for the renewal of the lighting was awarded by the competitive dialogue procedure, finally granted at the company Elecnor which was adjusted to the energy efficiency targets set by the City Council.
Finally, it should be added that the implementation of this Plan of Energy Conservation, the City of Puerto Lumbreras get a 60% reduction in annual energy consumption.
