The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Social Policy, the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Education has launched an awareness campaign against truancy in all schools of Elementary and Secondary Education of the locality.
Specifically, more than 350 students participate in the campaign under the slogan "Do not let your chair is empty," in order to prevent truancy in the city.
Similarly, with this campaign is to inform the students of the negative effects of truancy and educational and social resources at their disposal children and families to combat this problem.
