The seventeen students in the class 'Celador Health' organized by the Department of Employment of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through SEF Employment and Training Service, have completed the training process after the completion of 300 hours of theoretical and practical training.
This training which started last January 15 after a rigorous selection of candidates from over 140 entries received, is to train unemployed personnel, acquiring basic knowledge to develop work primarily transport patients and help in the activities of health workers, mobilization techniques to assist patients and nursing staff as well as the transfer of documentation, materials and biological samples.
This training has been provided in the CLD by the company formed SL, except for the first fifteen days of March, where 17 students performed the relevant practices in the Hospital 'Rafael Mendez' by Lorca.
According to Councilman Business, Employment and Local Development, Ginés David Piñero, this course 'helps to form the technical basis of training to be the best starting point to an optimal and stable future employment. "
In this way the Department of Enterprise, Employment and Local Development of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has conducted 14 courses of various kinds during the first quarter, which is scheduled for the second quarter, the celebration of 25 new training courses, high number than first courses held in the town over three months.
The courses are aimed at various groups of the population lumbrerense and neighboring towns as workers, the unemployed and the self.
