02 Abril'08 Puerto Lumbreras City Council continues its commitment to harness the municipality towards sustainable development and improving the quality of life for its citizens, all involving the sectors involved and involving in all policies and plans the municipal environmental perspective.

TOWARDS A GREEN CITY

These measures are in addition to others that Puerto Lumbreras is firmly committed to respect for the environment to create a "green city."
As for renewable energies, has recently launched a service free bike aimed at providing citizens with more transportation friendly environment.
