Councillor for Sports, Mariano Carrasco, the Councillor for Education, Isabel Garcia and the mayor of Social Policy, M ª Angeles Tunisia, accompanied by the President of the Sports Association Nogalte, Joaquín López and physical education teachers from schools in Puerto Lumbreras have been delivered this afternoon, the trophies of the Municipal School Games 2007-08.
Specifically 300 students have received medals and trophies in recognition of his efforts for nine months in school sports activities in the categories of mini-basketball, cross country, football 7, football and handball in the categories of male and female.
'This act is very well received among our young athletes and nine months after they see his work recognized, especially, participation and partnership, showing how it is to play as a team and having fun at the same time', as declared by the mayor of Sports Mariano Carrasco.
