This morning I have taken up three new local police in the Meeting Room of City Hall in a ceremony attended by the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, Councillor for Citizen Security, Dolores Arenas, the local police sergeant, Andrew Lledó, the Civil Protection coordinator, Juan Francisco Valera and the Civil Guard sergeant, Antonio Almagro, among many other relatives.
During the ceremony, held at the hall of the municipality, the new officers have taken office by oath to the constitution, also the mayor has made imposition of the board of Police Officer to each of them.
In the same way, Pedro Antonio Abellaneda Canales, Alvaro Aragon and Pedro Javier Lario Díaz Gazquez have become part of the staff of the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras, once passed selection tests and basic training course for aspiring done at the academy for six months.
Also, the mayor has publicly congratulated the new officers and encouraged them to 'serve the people loyally lumbrerenses to provide coverage of a particularly important service for citizens and public safety is reminding those present that the Today the staff of the Local Police has a total of twenty-effective, more than doubled over the past four years.
This increase of more troops, is due to the creation of Citizen Security Brigade Regional Plan, launched by the regional government last year.
