The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez accompanied by the Councillor for Education and Culture, Isabel Garcia this morning a memorial ceremony that will take place during the day on 7 July, Independence Day, at which also present, the anthem of the municipality.
During the press conference also have known the names of persons who are to receive, posthumously, the Medal of Merit by the City, all members of the Municipal Corporation, 1958.
The event will take place póximo Monday July 7 at 21.30 hours at the Polideportivo Municipal.
During the Institutional Act "Independence Day" was awarded, posthumously, the Medal of Merit for the City to the members of the first Municipal Corporation in an official event which also released the official anthem of Puerto Lumbreras, comprising Music composer and professor of chair of the Music Conservatory of Murcia, Sixto Manuel Herrero and will be interpreted by the European Symphony Orchestra, directed by Luis Cobos.
MEDALS OF MERIT BY THE CITY
On Tuesday, the full City Council unanimously approved grant the members of the First Muncipal Corporation, 1958, the Medal of Merit by the City posthumously.
Delivery will be effective next July 7 to his family.

HYMN TO PORT PORTING
Sixto Manuel Herrero Rodes has been commissioned to compose the "Ode to Puerto Lumbreras" due out next July 7 played by the Symphony Orchestra of Europe led by Luis Cobos.
The composer is Professor of Chair of the Music Conservatory of Murcia and in his musical career had collaborated with the Symphony Orchestra of Murcia and Santiago de Compostela Philharmonic.
He has composed numerous works premiered and edited several collections for saxophone, besides having composed soundtracks such as "Thirteen" and "Conciliation" by Fernando Canet.
In his own words "to compose the anthem to Puerto Lumbreras I have relied mainly on the open character of its people, its indiosincracia and their own culture and traditions."
The composer has made two versions of its own anthem, the official version lasting just over three minutes and a reduced version of one minute.
PALOMA SAN BASILIO MEMORIAL CONCERT AND SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA OF EUROPE Directed by Luis Cobos
Rounding out the Institutional Act of the Fiftieth Anniversary Memorial Concert will take place Paloma San Basilio accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of Europe led by Luis Cobos.
With a scenario of more than 400 square meters, seventy musicians from all over Europe led by renowned director Luis Cobos Paloma San Basilio accompany a tour of all his greatest hits.
A large display make this concert means a great opportunity to listen to one of the best voices of our country with an excellent musical accompaniment.
