29, Agosto'08 .- The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio with several members of the government team has visited this morning the advanced works of Day Care Center of Puerto Lumbreras.

The Center will provide family support, offering daytime care for basic personal needs, and socio-cultural treatment of older people affected by different degrees of dependence, promoting their independence and remain in their usual environment.

Some of the services will be offered breakfast, lunch and dinner, counseling, treatment, rehabilitation, medical care, assisted by a social worker, among others.

People who will benefit from these services will be the lumbrerenses most disadvantaged older people who have no treated or disabled.

In addition, the center will have facilities with separate equipment for lobbies and concierge areas, dining room, cafeteria, lounges, toilets, kitchen, terraces, physiotherapy room, priests, rest, baths geriatric, changing users, office with other multivalent direction, management, meeting room, changing rooms and storage.

The City Council and the Community of Irrigators "Caño and Raft" Puerto Lumbreras have been responsible for giving the site of nearly 1,000 square meters to build the senior center.

With this new infrastructure, the local government team solves the problem of the lack of all services from this center will be offered in the municipality.
