The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, the Director General of Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage, Enrique Ujaldón, the Councillor for Culture, Isabel García, members of the Cultural Association 'La Jara - José López Serres', Salvador and Carlos López SanBartolomé as well as members of the Local Government Team and numerous artists from Puerto Lumbreras attended last night at the awards contest outdoor painting 'Corners Puerto Lumbreras' held this year in its fifteenth edition.
This year the first prize, sponsored by the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras went to the Malaga Cristóbal León García, with a prize of 2,100 euros.
The second prize of 1,200 euros, was sponsored by Cajamurcia Estudillo Ignacio Perez, Jerez de la Frontera.
Alberto Marquez Ruiz, Pilar de la Horadada, won the third prize of 750 euros and sponsored by the Lottery Office No. 1 in Puerto Lumbreras.
Also the fourth and fifth prize of 600 euros and sponsored by Riviera Blumen Aseplu and have gone to M ª José López (Puerto Lumbreras) and Antonio Agulló of Elche.
The local award sponsored by the Cultural Association 'La Jara, José López Serres' has fallen on this issue in the lumbrerense Veronica Navarro.
In this way the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, said the consolidated nature of the event and 'acceptance which has among local artists and from different Spanish geographical locations due to the charm of the municipality to be expressed in a canvas'.
Collaboration also thanked the sponsors of the event.
The works will be shown at the Cultural Centre until October 26.
