Advance the work of the outbuildings to the future Auditorium Theatre-Puerto Lumbreras for the School of Music and Dance Hall Exhibition and Conference.
The building of the School of Dance and Music has a total of 1,387 square meters, divided into four levels high.
At level -1 will be located Dance School, with different training classrooms and rehearsal rooms, the ground and first floors will be dedicated to the School of Music, while the second level will be located management section.
The pavilion for exhibitions and conferences, will have three floors and will have 1,202 meters square.
On the ground floor, access and control, will be located showroom and at the top, for Congress, will house a conference room, seminars and multi-purpose rooms, while the second level is intended for administration.
These facilities, designed by architect Martin Lejárraga, will provide a forum for citizens, which include activities related to the intense cultural and recreational activity that takes place around the Theatre, Music and Dance, at a site located in a strategic position , close to other cultural facilities, inserted in a residential urban area of outstanding growth and close to the connection to the Mediterranean motorway.
This area will be consolidated as the main hub of activity from which to carry out meetings and cultural programs, business, trade and tourism, extended to the entire city, with a functional aesthetic construction, simple and easy to maintain, as well as for maximum energy efficiency.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras and regional deputy, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, explained that 'the new infrastructure will contribute to the cultural and socio-economic area, strengthening its tourist attractions, as well as generating employment in different occupational categories. This action is part of public works announced by the mayor with the aim of tackling the crisis in the sector of construction works which is expected to continue for 20 months.
