The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras and Regional Representative Pedro Antonio Sanchez attended along with Director General for Cultural Promotion, Antonio Martinez to the premiere of the play "Les infants du paradis" directed by choreographer and dancer Murcia, José Martínez.
Pedro Antonio Sánchez wanted to show their support and reconicimiento to one of the leading figures of the dance that we currently have in our country and certainly the most international of the Region of Murcia.
The Mayor said that "it is an honor for the Region of Murcia Murcia is a star dancer and director of a work is represented in the Paris Opera.

Jose Martinez was born in Cartagena in 1969.
He left the Barrio del Peral de Cartagena when he was 14 years and encouraged by his first teacher, Pilar Molina scored their way to France, where he has since resided.
He studied at Cannes and in 1988 had an audition for the Paris Opera to a court presided over by the prestigious Rudolf Nureyev.
Since then, his career began its most successful moments.
In the Paris Opera has represented major works as "Orpheus and Eurydice" and "Giselle" with dancers such as Mats Ek or Pina Bausch.
Jose Martinez has been among the most important awards & Dance Dance Award 1998 and the National Dance Award in 1999.
