He also said that 'we are working on legislative and social framework that is focused on generating awareness, non-sexist education to create quality media which portrays women as subjects and not objects, so we must work to arbitrate effective measures to eradicate, prosecute and prevent this serious problem that is reflected in the sad balance of 61 women who died so far in Spain and 15 complaints of domestic violence recorded in Puerto Lumbreras. Gázquez also said that the eradication of violence against women is a commitment of society as a whole and corresponds to the municipal governments, as government closest to citizens, the duty to work to fill the gaps and needs of the plant daily care for victims.
