Explum has closed its call for 2009 with the presentation of 640 works of national and international artists, from Brazil, Mexico, USA, Canada, Japan and Nordic countries, among others, with respect to the 398 works presented last year.
Explum complete musical performances, all free, to be submitted on several occasions, as well as "Individual Explum: three individual projects will be located in different parts of the town lumbrerense, among which the young draft lumbrerense Maria Amada Martinez Arenas.
The Selection Committee submitted in 2009, chaired by Miguel Angel Cayuela López, director of Explum, has been composed by Alicia Murría, art critic, independent curator and director of the magazine Artecontexto, "the gallery of" Journey Four " Silvia Ortiz and Inés López-Quesada and artist Arash Moori.
The exhibition will open on April 3, 2009, show the selected works of artists: Alvaro Gil Soldevilla, Spain, Bjørn Erik Haugen, Norway, Carl Palm, Sweden, Carolina Silva Gonzalez, Spain, Cristina Martin Lara, Spain, David Giraut Ferrando, Spain, Diana Larrea, Spain, Eliza Newman-Saul, USA; Jorge Filipe Dos Reis Santos, Portugal, Juan Diaz Dominguez, Spain, Marlon De Azambuja, Brazil and Paloma Polo Carreno, Spain.
As well as projects Corbí Albert Llorens, Spain, Maria Amada Martinez Arenas, Spain and Warren Neidich, USA.
