The lumbrerense Juan Vicente Navarro presented last night, with the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez his latest book called "Legends of Nogalte Medina."
A literary journal that will serve to raise awareness of the historical data of Puerto Lumbreras in combination of legend, magic, poetry and mystery that evokes a mythical and legendary as the emergence and development of a people.
In a ceremony held at the Cultural Center, attended by 200 people, author and teacher of Sacred Heart School said: "This publication is a dream that begins in the old walls of Castle Nogalte at the point where he began to forge a people. "
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and thanked Juan Vicente Navarro their work and effort in this work that "makes the concern of the author by looking through the charm and essence of a village surrounded by the magic of Castillo, Casas-Cueva, the old Medina and Nogalte environment, which will make many lumbrerenses know the history of the town through this historical fiction novel published in the framework of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of Puerto Lumbreras.

Born in Puerto Lumbreras (1951), in the Plaza D.

He is married and has two daughters and a grandson.
Currently works as a school teacher in the Sacred Heart of Puerto Lumbreras.
He has published numerous books such as "Introduction to the mentality and customs. Puerto Lumbreras, Eighteenth Century" (2001), a study of certain aspects of the history of Puerto Lumbreras in the eighteenth century, as historical research is one of the hobbies this author.
"Via Crucis" (Sonnets) (2002); collection of fifteen sonnets, one for each of the Stations of the Cross, published by the Confraternity of Stmo.

"The time we were" (2003); collection of 32 sonnets in which the author expresses her feelings and meets with them, is certainly more endearing publication for this author.
"Portrait of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows of Puerto Lumbreras" (2004), a study of this Brotherhood lumbrerense on the third anniversary of the Solemn Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of Sorrows.
"The figures of my crib" (2004); collection of sonnets and other verses dedicated to Christmas with a charming view of it.
It also has five stories that we have other more crude this Christmas season.
"Fifteen Years Later" (2005); study of the Brotherhood of Stmo.
Cristo de la Fe upon completion of the 15 th anniversary of its founding.
"The Seven Sorrows" (2006); collection of seven sonnets devoted to the sorrows of the Blessed.
