The Governing Council has authorized the Ministry of the Presidency and government to grant 650,000 euros to the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras for the construction of a Police Service Centre in the village of El Esparragal-Station.

The need for this type of infrastructure is given by the population increase in this hamlet lumbrerense and the need to enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement in this rural area, ensuring highest levels of security.
