Last night saw the opening of Bethlehem city, as outlined in the Constitution Square, in a ceremony attended by more than one hundred lumbrerenses and several members of the Local Government Team, among whom were the mayor, Pedro Antonio Councilwoman Sanchez and Celebrations, Isabel García.

During the opening ceremony of the Chorus and Dance Group "Virgen del Rosario" performed several Christmas carols, which also lacked the traditional Easter not sung by the crew of The Esparragal.

Attendees also were able to enjoy traditional Christmas sweets typical of the holiday season and made by local bakers.
