The Governing Council has approved 1.4 million euros to the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras to acquire land on which to build a center for young artists with the aim of encouraging the development of social and cultural life young people in this county.

The center will be built a building of 782 square meters, consisting of basement, ground floor and three floors.

The ground floor will feature an exhibition hall, a multipurpose hall and an outdoor auditorium with capacity for 150 people.

The remaining floors will house a multipurpose room and a service area.
