The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the mayor of Enterprise, Employment and Local Development, Ginés David Piñero, this morning visited the employment workshop participants, mostly women, who last started their December 15 job-training program that will run in the municipality until the end of this year.
Employment workshops, sponsored by the Department of Employment and Development of the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras have as main objective the theoretical and practical training of 22 students and students over 25 years to develop their practical work training, to over an annual period, through a grant from the European Social Fund and the Autonomous Community of Murcia, which through the Local Development Centre will be formed in core as, environmental awareness, information and prevention occupational hazards, as well as specialized workshops this year are for masonry, street cleaning and home care.
These workshops are framed in the proceedings of measures to support job creation, developed by the session lumbrerense, which are configured as a mixed employment-training and re-employment for unemployed people conducted over twenty years, mostly women, with dependents and registered with the National Institute of Employment and job seekers.
The action "Puerto Lumbreras: Entrepreneur II", realize improved employability of students, workers in different specialized areas previously among which are, in addition, basic training for those eligible participants who have not reached the level of secondary education (ESO) to strengthen and knowledge gained through the Adult Education Center in Puerto Lumbreras, as well as career guidance and training in business management, risk prevention, environmental awareness and contributing informatica for further labor market, both for others and through self-employment projects.
In total there will be 22 pupils aged between 30 and 55, and lacking specific Eductive, the recipients will participate for an entire year in the workshop of employment with specific plans to support and adaptation in the classroom for each of the students.
The mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and stressed that "the members of the workshop will gain training and employment and labor practice by carrying out works and services of public utility and social interest related to new sources of employment for a year, making its subsequent labor market both as an employee, and through the creation of business projects, which involves making contacts with local companies to facilitate the future employability of workers trained in the workshop and to establish re-employment measures to help mitigate the consequences of unemployment in the population lumbrerense. "
