The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez and CEO of Sports, Antonio Peñalver, along with the councilman of Sports and Youth of the municipality, Mariano Carrasco visited the sports facilities of Puerto Lumbreras.

The main objective of this meeting was the visit and supervision of works and installations already completed the first Municipal Sports Facilities Plan of Puerto Lumbreras.

This project contains a number of measures for the construction and renovation of sports facilities in the municipality.

The mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, has said: "From the City continue to work with the general direction of Sports to improve and build new sports facilities in the municipality.

With this first Municipal Sports Facilities Plan we have invested time high of more than 4 million in Puerto Lumbreras.

Other measures contained in this Municipal Plan is the creation of a multipurpose hall in the Esparragal, whose work is scheduled to begin in two weeks.

Regarding the Municipal Sports Complex who have visited this morning, has a total area of 4,000 square meters, has a heated pool with a length of 25 meters and six blocks, moving bleachers, dressing rooms, and also has a play area of 30 by 56 meters of surface area that the distribution of three basketball courts, three volleyball courts, a handball and a football pitch.
