The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras and Member of the Regional Assembly, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, met today in Brussels with the head of European Union projects, Pavol KrempaskĂ˝, belonging to the executive agency for education, audiovisual and culture .
The meeting served to discuss the possibilities of the new municipality lumbrerense project for funding through the Leonardo program.
This program will increase the training possibilities of the municipality.
The main objective is training for the social inclusion of the group at risk of social exclusion and unemployment.
With this new program work, the town of Murcia establish workers' tools of trade centers in Finland, Czech Republic, Belgium and Germany.
This project has its roots in the Lifelong Learning Programme of the member countries of the European Union.

Thus, the municipality will adhere to a European network of locations that apply co-efficiency measures, clean energy and sustainability in the facilities and public buildings.
This initiative is connected with the signing of the covenant of mayors, which officially takes place tomorrow in the Belgian capital.
As stated by the mayor and deputy regional "Puerto Lumbreras is actively participating in numerous international projects that are able to incorporate the experiences of European countries in such important areas as education, employment, sustainability and economic and social development. Also , we obtain new lines of financing for the implementation of these and other projects. "
