Municipal Library of Puerto Lumbreras gets a prize in the Animation Project Maria Moliner Reading through initiatives organized during the last week of paper.

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras organized many initiatives to promote reading among young people.
During Book Week, the Department of Education developed activities such as school competitions, workshops to encourage reading for people with disabilities or a storyteller.
Also developed a reading initiative and interpretation of poems was titled 'Sensation' and that was that IES students Rambla de Nogalte expressed feelings that they were transmitting the selected poems.
All these activities have been awarded in the contest for Reading Promotion Maria Moliner with a set of books consisting of 200 titles that will go to the Municipal Library's collection of Puerto Lumbreras.
The Project Competition Reading Promotion, which is included within the Development Plan Reading organized by numerous representatives of the General Directorate of Books, the Ministry of Culture or the direction for Economic Development and sociocultural Spanish Federation of municipalities and provinces, aims to encourage actions to encourage reading and the social integration of the libraries of municipalities with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants.
