Puerto Lumbreras offer this year the first year of national paddle monitor the Region of Murcia.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has drawn a calendar with all the activities available for sports of the inhabitants of the municipality.
"The wide range of sports in Puerto Lumbreras is necessary that people have this document that shows the wide range of opportunities that allow them to lead a healthier life."
With these words defined the councilman of Youth and Sports of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, Mariano Carrasco, the objective of the Consistory in sports.
Carrasco, accompanied by the presidents of the Municipal Schools of Puerto Lumbreras, presented the sports project, an initiative that began six years ago with the collaboration of several companies lumbrerenses.
The sport in this town is made by the collaboration of thirty sports clubs, groups and the City Council.
This year included activities such as Mountain Bike Run on April 4, Championship Futsal companies, 24 hours of football, Guidance and Cruise Night Championships tennis, paddle, Billiards and Hiking.
On the other hand are also planned trips to the snow, the Cross Regional League in Puerto Lumbreras Spain or Cycling Championship Adapted for the month of May.
December features a King International Boxing Championship Spain Belgium.
In addition to sports activities are scheduled more than a dozen specialized training courses.

Also in 2009 three courses will be taught first aid in order to train instructors, coaches and teachers in the municipality.

Thus, the Department of Sports has new initiatives throughout the year, and the granting of scholarships to athletes and the creation of new sports facilities developed within the Municipal Sports Facilities Plan.
