The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has participated throughout the weekend Turismur , where he has developed numerous activities to show the tourist attractions of the municipality.
In the XVIII edition of the National Chamber of Tourism and Recreation in the Region of Murcia the city has committed to the development of rural tourism, showing much of the infrastructure available for property such as houses or the new youth hostel , and various recreational activities, such as the 14 hiking trails or the Astronomical Observatory.
The Councillor for Tourism, Ginés David Piñero, said "this year's fair has been very successful, which has shown a new tourist area of Puerto Lumbreras aimed at lovers of natural and rural environment.

The town has had a stand of 20 m2 consisting of several panels of images, a plasma with the promotional video Revitalization Plan Nogalte Medina Tourism Product and a block of animation with the presence of the pet of the Natural Cabezo de la Jara , Jarita.
Have also been offered several typical sausage tastings in the area.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras sample activities such different products for each of the sectors of food in the locality.
For its part, the Chorus and Dance Group Virgen del Rosario made several performances with the most representative dances of Puerto Lumbreras, among which stressed the traditional parranda or Malaga.
